Q: Where will The Average Girl be available for purchase?

A: It will be available through Amazon.

Q- Why did you decide to write a novel?

A- Writing has always been a passion of mine, ever since I was old enough to spell. I have journals filled with poems and plays and short stories from when I was a teenager and in college. So I always knew I would write a book someday, it was just a question of timing. When I came up with this topic it was just so fun to write and think of all the different scenarios, it practically wrote itself.

Q- What experience do you have writing?

A- I have a degree in Journalism and Creative Writing. I’ve written a few short stories, and many press releases and newsletters in a previous career. The Average Girl is my debut novel.

Q- Have you ever dated someone famous?

A- Yes. I think everyone that has lived in Los Angeles their entire life has probably dated a celebrity at some point and time. He was very nice but none of the characters or scenes in The Average Girl are based on him.

Q- What have you done in attempts to meet a celebrity?

A- Nothing too crazy. My friends and I once followed a celebrity from a radio station to his hotel. But when we got to the hotel we were too nervous to do anything so we just went home.

Q- If you could “accidentally” meet one celebrity, who would it be and why?

A- Probably Johnny Depp. Everything we see of him is a performance. He’s such a wonderful actor. I’d love to see who he is when the spotlight isn’t on.

Q- How did you learn about the celebrity lifestyle?

A- I talked to a lot of people that work in the Entertainment Industry and drew from my own experiences in previous jobs or internships, as well as just living in Los Angeles. If you’re observant you can learn a lot of things. Combine that with a healthy dose of imagination and you have the celebrity lifestyle.

Q- Does the “bump and drop” really work?

A- Try it and let me know!

Q- Did you base Alexander on a real celebrity?

A- Not really. He was based more on the ideal dream celebrity. If there were an absolutely perfect celebrity, that’s who Alexander would be.

Q- What is your next novel going to be about?

A- My next novel is about a conservative single mom that starts dating a bad-boy celebrity for money as part of a publicity stunt. She’s living a very normal life, trying to make ends meet while her “boyfriend” is living an extravagant lifestyle- and bringing her along. She’s trying to find balance between the two when she falls for the bad boy’s good brother. That’s when everything goes haywire.
